Jetta is a joint venture of German Volkswagen Group in China-FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd.'s auto brand. On December 5, 1991, the first domestic Jetta A2 was assembled and offline at the FAW-Volkswagen Car Factory. Volkswagen changed and upgraded on the basis of the second -generation German Jetta A2 in 1983.
