Skoda (Czech language: š Koda Auto) is a car manufacturer headquartered in the Czech Republic. Founded in 1895. After 1991, the Skoda company gradually moved from the national publicization to the privatization of the consortium, and in 2000 became a brand of the German Volkswagen Group (VW).
