The recent trend of stylish, high-amenity cars swapping power for fuel efficiency isn’t something that Jaguar’s XF can handle, says reviewer Aaron Bragman. The 2013 model’s new turbocharged four-cylinder engine is only modestly powerful, and its eight-speed automatic transmission is poorly tuned — together the pair returns unimpressive fuel economy. Bragman says the XF is still sexy, but this big cat has lost its roar.
