Lincoln says three new Monochromatic Packages for its Navigator aim to reflect the “minimalistic color trend popular in fashion and home decor,” and also reflect the clean design of Navigator interiors. You can get the $1,995 exterior appearance packages on the 2020 Reserve trim level — the level that sits beneath Lincoln’s over-the-top Black Label models — and they come in Pristine White (a refrigerator white new to the Navigator palette), Infinite Black and Ceramic Pearl (an off-white). Lincoln says that nine out of 10 buyers opt for one of these two top trim levels over the two lower ones.
In addition to the bodywork paint, the Monochromatic Packages include body-colored grille inserts, lower front bumpers, side mirror caps and Navigator badges on the front fenders. Rounding out the package, regardless of paint choice, are 22-inch black 12-spoke wheels. But fear not land-yacht fans, there’s still plenty of shiny trim on these big Lincolns. And the interior remains unchanged, with available colors depending on your choice of paint non-colors.
More Standard Tech for 2020
Meanwhile, all 2020 Navigators, which land at dealers in November, get some additional standard tech and luxury features. Lincoln’s Phone as a Key feature will allow owners who activate the capability on Lincoln’s phone app to lock and unlock the vehicle, open the liftgate, and start up and drive the Navigator — all without a key fob.
Wireless phone charging and power running boards now also will be standard for 2020 on the base Navigator. Lincoln’s Co-Pilot360 package of safety and driver assistance tech also will be standard across all trim levels. It doesn’t add features new to the Navigator, but it makes uniform tech features that in some cases varied by model. The suite includes a front collision system with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, a blind spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert and trailer coverage, lane departure warning, lane keep assist and automatic high beams. Availability of adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and a 360-degree camera system will remain limited to higher trim levels. You can find details of the 2019 Navigator features here.
